A cardiac-arrest simulation produces a great deal in a short time. CPR starts and stops. Rhythm checks interrupt compressions. Shocks are prepared and delivered. Medications are given. Leadership emerges. Roles change. The team moves from arrest management to post-arrest care.
By the time the debrief begins, much of it is gone — or remembered differently by everyone in the room.
How does a facilitator capture what matters without losing the room?
MockCode is the answer to that question: a structured observer that records the CPR timeline and key resuscitation events, so the discussion afterwards is based on what actually happened.
What it is for
Simulation facilitation, education, training, audit and quality improvement. It supports the facilitator; it does not replace professional interpretation, educational judgment, or human discussion.

The developer
Dr. Rayan Makhdom is an intensive care physician and healthcare simulation educator. MockCode grew out of his own resuscitation teaching, and out of the tension between two tasks that compete for the same attention: watching the team closely, and capturing enough detail to make the debrief useful.
The app is independently developed and free. There is no paid tier, no institutional licence, and no account.
